ABOUT THE NORFOLK MILLWRIGHT

We provide professional solutions to renovate traditional windmills

We are a small company of Millwrights repairing and renovating traditional wind and water mills. We offer workshop and on site services.  Our workshops are based near Southwold in Suffolk ideally placed to service mills in the four counties covered by our team

 

We build top quality sails, mill caps, curbs, fantails, brake wheels, wallowers, shutters and also make repairs to all of the above

 

We work closely with local councils, associations and private mill owners

 

Regular servicing of mills, recladding, windows, weatherproofing and repainting of sails, caps and towers

Electrical Generation

We are currently installing generating equipment into a traditional windmill to allow the mill to work off grid in conjunction with solar panels to cover the days without wind
